šŸŽ¤ About the tour

We humans like to think weā€™re exceptional beings, but just like trees, rocks and tabletops, weā€™re nothing but the products of physics, moulded by its laws.

Yes, our ability to love, to regret, to build, to destroy, separates us from inanimate objects, but the reality is weā€™re just bags of particles, or as Professor Brian Greene eloquently puts it, ā€œlife is physics orchestrated.ā€ Pretty humbling, huh?

While our lifespans are mere blips on the universeā€™s timeline, it doesnā€™t make them worthless. As Brian describes it, the novelty of our existence lies in the fact weā€™re transient travellers made from the same matter as everything and everyone around us!

Our ā€˜blipā€™ is part of a cosmic story that started at the dawn of time, has been shaped by entropy and evolution, and will one day come to a spectacular end. Join Brian for a journey along the timeline of our universe, from the very beginning to the present moment, until the end of time.

ā€šŸš€ Who is Brian Greene?

First and foremost heā€™s credited with groundbreaking discoveries in superstring theory, including the co-discovery of mirror symmetry, and the discovery of spatial topology change.

His work has captured the imaginations of people around the world, with his appearances on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the Joe Rogan Experience racking up millions of views.

Heā€™s authored six incredibly successful books, heā€™s the head of Columbia Universityā€™s Center for Theoretical Physics, AND is chairman of the World Science Festival (which he co-founded)!

Part philosopher and part physicist, donā€™t expect him to get bogged down in equations ā€“ Brianā€™s passion spills over into discussions of free will, art, religion and ethics, which he examines through the lens of not only a scientist with 40 years experience, but also as a kid whose curiosity knows no bounds.

šŸ‘€ In-Person Tickets

If youā€™re anything like us, your idea of a fun time is witnessing one of the worldā€™s best theoretical physicists explore the intricacies of our strange universe.

Prepare to be infected (too soon?) by Brian Greeneā€™s passion for the universe, which often spills over into titillating existential musings on free will, religion, art and ethics.

We design Think Inc. events to be a bit like a rap concert: high energy. Bring some friends and make some new ones as you witness one of the most influential scientists of our generation live in conversation.
