Maajid Nawaz, Ali Rizvi & Yasmine Mohammed
No public debate has- actually, calling it a public debate may be a misnomer. Let’s try this again.
No debate that ought to be public has been bullied so deep into privacy than the conversation concerning Islam and global terrorism. Likewise, no debate has sparked so much noise from both of the political extremes whilst denigrating and silencing those who speak from a place of critical, not ideological thought - and that place is somewhere in the middle.
Pushing back against the delusions that the bulk of global terrorism has either everything or nothing to do with Islam, Think Inc. will be hosting a triumvirate of voices at the forefront of intellectual honesty in our discourse on religious extremism: these voices include radical-turned-reformer Maajid Nawaz (co-author of Islam and the Future of Tolerance with Sam Harris), Ali A. Rizvi (author of The Atheist Muslim: A Journey from Religion to Reason), and Yasmine Mohammed (Confessions of an Ex-Muslim).
Next March, join Maajid, Ali and Yasmine for talks, interviews, and audience Q&As, and let their insights and life experiences fill the intellectual void created by those on both extremes of the political spectrum.
